The campsite at Dalkeith Country Park is a beautiful, back-to-basics summer camping experience. Book a pitch on our camping field or enjoy a pre-pitched tent which is waiting for your arrival. Stay just outside Edinburgh on our family friendly campsite.

Our campsite is open in the summer months from July – August 2022 for the perfect staycation.

You will find Bowhill House & Grounds nestled in the stunning Scottish Borders countryside, only an hour from Dalkeith Country Park.  Visitors to Bowhill have the opportunity to stay in the courtyard of the historic mansion house with a choice of two dog friendly properties.  The two-bedroom Clock Tower apartment which ideally sleeps four but can sleep up to seven, or the Chauffer’s Flat, a three-bedroom apartment sleeping up to six guests. A gorgeous location, ideal for history enthusiasts or country-side lovers.

Located in picturesque Dumfries and Galloway, Drumlanrig Castle is at the heart of a vibrant country estate, offering castle tours, walking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, children’s adventure playground and a range of quality self-catering properties.   Choose from immaculate apartments located in the historic Stableyard or from a selection of three and four bedroom cottages nestled close the Castle. Whichever you decide you will enjoy stunning interiors with everything you need to have a truly memorable stay.
