THE CAMPSITE AT DALKEITH COUNTRY PARK FAQs

Where is Dalkeith Country Park?

We can’t wait to welcome you to our gorgeous rural campsite, just outside Edinburgh this summer. We’ve put together some FAQs below to help you plan your stay.

Where is Dalkeith Country Park?

We’re located just outside Edinburgh, in Midlothian. Directions to Dalkeith Country Park.

How do I book?

Bookings for our campsite pitches are taken online except in the cases of large groups. Unfortunately we cannot take individual bookings over the phone or email. We are now open for bookings from 15th July until mid August 2022. Please note that bookings are for a minimum of 2 nights.

When can I check in/check out?

Check in for camping at Dalkeith Country Park is between 3pm-6pm and check out is by 10am. As you have the freedom to select your own pitch, you may wish to check in at the same time as friends or family you want to camp beside. Please ensure you check in during these hours as the main vehicle entrance to the Park closes at 7pm. If you need to check in at a different times please contact us.

Do you have showers and toilets on site?

Yes, we will have showers with hot water available on site and toilets at our Dalkeith Country Park Campsite. Unfortunately we are not able to provide disabled toilets or facilities at this time. The facilities are rented on site and are basic, but help provide the real camping experience in a beautiful location close to Edinburgh.

Where is your nearest shop?

There is a Morrison’s (EH22 1HQ) and Sainsbury’s Local (EH22 2RF) within a five minute drive of our campsite location.
