Fort Douglas Opening Hours

Fort Douglas is open 7 days a week. Our adventure playground can book up quickly, so please book your tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment.

Opening Hours:

10.00 – 17.00 (all day session)

It is not always possible to purchase tickets on the day of your visit. Please remember to book your adult tickets as children must be accompanied by an over-18. To ensure our little visitors are kept safe, we don’t allow dogs inside Fort Douglas.

Calling all young adventurers ~ operation fun awaits at Fort Douglas! Run, slide, fly, climb and explore the most magical adventure playground. Bridges and slides, turreted treehouses, zip wires, rope bridges, climbing walls and tunnels await. Perfect for children up to 12 years, with a toddler play area for under 5s. ASVA cards are accepted ~ customers will be asked to show their ASVA cards on arrival and are only valid for Adult Fort Douglas tickets, max of 2 cards can be used per booking.

The Coffee Cabin

Need a break from all the exploring? The Fort Douglas Coffee Cabin – located in the centre of the adventure playground – is open every weekend and during peak times, serving hot drinks, snacks, cakes and ice cream. It’s the perfect pit-stop to recharge before heading back for more fun.

Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee while the little ones play or a sweet treat to keep energy levels up, the Coffee Cabin has you covered.

If the cabin isn’t open during your visit, there’s no need to go hungry — our friends at Restoration Yard are just a short walk away, where you can refuel at The Kitchen or The Coffee Bar with a range of food, drinks and treats for the whole family.

Ready to ride? Our NEW bike track is perfect for little adventurers 1.2m and under. With push bikes and four-wheel tractors to hop on, it’s a fun way for young riders to practise their skills, build confidence and get to grips with riding – all while having plenty of fun along the way!
