How was your visit?
The Kitchen
The Kitchen is a gorgeous light-filled restaurant located within Restoration Yard. You will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the estate and historic Orangerie. It is an idyllic place to eat to enjoy brunch or lunch all day, indoors or on the outdoor terrace throughout the summer months. You’ll find child-friendly options and something tasty whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free.
The Kitchen is open from 09:30 every day.
The Coffee Bar
For those of you who are looking for an informal catch-up spot – with beautiful views of course – The Coffee Bar is the spot for you. Located just off of The Foodhall within The Store at Restoration Yard, you can pick up a hot (or cold!) beverage of your choice along with snacks, cakes, scones, soup and lots more goodies.
Did we mention that your four-legged friends are welcome too? Bring your pup in for a much need rest after their park adventures.
The Coffee Bar is open from 09:00 every day.
The Larder
Head into The Larder for takeaway treats galore. A popular Midlothian coffee stop, The Larder has sandwiches, wraps, kids lunch boxes, snacks and even treats for your pooch.
Let us not forget the best of all! The Larder is home to our wide array of Giacopazzi’s ice cream. Cone or tub, flake or sprinkles, you decide. Why not take a blast to the past and treat the littles to a slushie on those extra warm summer days.
The Larder is open from 11:00 (dogs are very welcome!)
The Fort Douglas Cabin
If Fort Douglas adventure playground is the reason for your visit, then we have the perfect foodie option to keep those energy levels up throughout your session.
