Located in the center of the 1000 acre estate, Fort Douglas truly gives a sense of wilderness and magic. ‘The Fort’ which can be found at the far end of the adventure playground – hidden amongst the trees – is a treehouse lovers dream.

Let them enjoy using their imagination as they play out pirate wars, great explorer adventures and look out over their kingdom.

For littler legs aged 4 and under, Mini Maze is the specially designed fun zone just for them. Our incredible design team essentially took Fort Douglas and shrunk it down. Your littles can enjoy all the big kid fun, but in a safe and manageable size.

In addition to the bridges, tunnels, and slides, Mini Maze is also home to a whole fleet of mini tractors. They are always a big hit amongst our adventurers.

The slide of all slides resides within Fort Douglas. If your kiddos are fans of an adventure challenge then this slide is for them. Taking them all the way from the top of Fort Douglas, right to the bottom. There will be plenty of oohs, ahhs and whees! Once at the bottom the challenge will commence as they clamber back up the nets to go again and again.

Oh and don’t forget, adults are welcome to take on the giant slide fun too!

A big part of what makes Fort Douglas unique is that it caters to a wide range of ages. Sky Maze is the older sibling of Mini Maze and is ideal for your 5 to 12 year old’s.

Those who love nothing more than to run, slide, fly, climb and explore over bridges, down slides, and through plenty of turreted treehouses – this is the fun zone for them.

Once you have taken on Mini Maze, Sky Maze, giant slides, and Fort galore then it’s time to head to the jumping pillows. That’s right, there’s two! Now we know it may seem unlikely that they’ll still have energy left at this point, but we can assure you they will.

Arguably one of the most popular destination within Fort Douglas are our jumping pillows. The giant pillow is for 5 to 12 year olds with Mini Maze playing host to it’s very own mini jumping pillow for those 4 and under.

Here at Fort Douglas we love to host seasonal activities to make the most of the holidays. In 2023 visitors have enjoyed scavenger hunts, the Easter Bunny visiting, craft activities, birthday parties, Halloween activities and much more.
