Our good friends at Restoration Yard have their very own doggy ice cream – created in partnership with the talented team at Giacopazzi’s – that will definitely get tails wagging.

Your pup will be thrilled to know that there is no shortage of walkie options here at Dalkeith Country Park. We have six waymarked trails starting at 1km and going all the way up to 7km.

Whether they love a leisurely stroll or prefer an action packed woodland adventure – with plenty of squirrels along the way! – we’ve got the walk to suit them.

You may have heard of them or possibly have a pup that is entirely obsessed, around here Crumbs Cakes are the talk of the canine town. From our good friends at Crumbs of Portobello and available in The Larder and Coffee Bar at Restoration Yard, these freshly baked liver cakes will truly make you dogs day.

Why not use this Spoil Your Dog Day to spend some quality time with your pooch. Slow things down, let them enjoy a good sniff walk stopping to smell as many things as they desire. Once they’re all sniffed out, take them to Dalkeith Palace Bowl with their favourite tug toy, frisbee or ball and play until they can play no more (for some this will take longer than others!).
