Our campsite is open for Summer 2024 bookings and is the budget friendly Edinburgh festival accommodation you’ve been searching for. Bring your own tent or opt for pre-pitched and enjoy your stay just 20 minutes from Edinburgh’s main attractions and festivals.
Pitch up at The Park
Our campsite offers a beautiful, back-to-basics experience. Located next to the woodland of Dalkeith Country Park, on a grassy field by the river. The ideal escape from a busy day in the city.
Worried about having enough hands to bring your tent with you? Worry not! You can opt for a pre-pitched tent. Our lovely team will have your tent up and ready for your arrival with air beds in tow.
Campsite facilities include a reception cabin, where you can check in between 3pm to 6pm as well as a toilet & shower block with washing up facilities.

With bus routes from Edinburgh to Dalkeith stopping at the festivals main venues such as, George Square, Bristo Square and The Plesance, it couldn’t be easier!
Travelling to The Park
We understand that finding your way around a new city can be daunting. Lucky for you, there are plenty of travel options to get you to and from Dalkeith Country Park:
Getting here by bus
If you’re travelling from Edinburgh to Dalkeith, jump on a Lothian Bus number 3, 33 or 49 to Dalkeith High Street. Main bus routes from Edinburgh to Dalkeith stop at the festivals main venues such as, George Square, Bristo Square and The Plesance. Dalkeith Country Park is a short five to 10 minutes walk from the Dalkeith bus stop.
Getting here by bike
We recommend you cycle to The Park through Town Gate, off the A6094 or Smeaton Gate, which is closest to the National Cycle Route.
