What's on the tour?
Dalkeith Country Park has been in the Buccleuch family for over 300 years and the site itself can be traced back to Roman times. The architecture and designed landscape you see today have been created through the generations by the Buccleuch family.
Throughout the historical tour you will find out more about Montagu Bridge, Dalkeith Palace, The Ice House, The Dark Walk & London Gates, Restoration Yard, The Orangerie, Prisoner of War Camps, Laundry House & Bridge and last but by no means least The Old Oakwood.
