A quacking day out
Join us for a quacking charity duck race, raising funds for our charity partner My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. This family event returns to Dalkeith Country Park on Sunday 05 May.
And it’s not just ducks! You’ll find tasty treats from local food vendors, refreshing Cold Town beer, face painting, live music and a prize-tastic raffle. Oh and did we forget to mention that the iconic Doddie tractor will be joining us for the day! Climb aboard for fun family photo opps.
Art and activities for all
Inception Art Show returns to Dalkeith Country Park from 03 – 12 May 2024. With a programme of events and impressive collection of sculptors, artists, photographers and painters exhibiting within Dalkeith Palace.
Over 10 days art lovers will have access to the artists and their work with an inspiring additional programme of Palace tours, an online charity auction and an exciting Family Day featuring workshops and demonstrations for all ages.

Midlothian Young People’s Advice Service (MYPAS) are returning to Dalkeith Country Park on Sunday 12 May for their Bluebell Trail Run. Run the 5K or 10K trail and for the little ones, the Junior 1K and help to raise funds for MYPAS.
And on Sunday 19 May The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is coming to The Park. The DGR unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
