BBQ Area For Hire

BBQ Area For Hire

*Please note BBQs can only be held at Dalkeith Country Park by hiring this area for safety purposes. Please do not bring your own BBQ to the Park or light fires under any circumstances as this can be very dangerous to other visitors and the Park’s ancient woodland*.

Summer wouldn’t be the same without the sizzle of sausages and the mouth-watering aroma of chargrilled burgers drifting through the air.

We love a BBQ just as much as the next person, that’s why we’re delighted to announce a new dedicated BBQ area available for private hire. Enjoy the ultimate al fresco feast in the beautiful surroundings of Dalkeith Country Park.

Enjoy exclusive use of the field and the Dalkeith Country Park BBQ (own coals and cooking skills required!), or feel free to bring your own BBQ along with a gazebo should you prefer. Please note all BBQs need to be booked in with our team.

Hire price

Exclusive use of the BBQ area costs £150 for the day, including full use of our BBQ (if required), exclusive parking space and bin for rubbish.

Alternatively, if you’re coming along with the little ones, you can work up an appetite by including free entry to Fort Douglas adventure park for the full day. This package is £10 per person with a minimum hire price of £200.

If you’re a loyalty cardholder don’t forget to quote your loyalty card number for 15% off.

Please bring your own food and drink. Don’t forget to pack the marshmallows! But if you do, you can always pop into Restoration Yard where you’ll find an incredible choice of BBQ rubs, mallows on a stick and much more.

For more information, please complete our BBQ Enquiry Form.
