Paint your own Halloween decorations

SOLD OUT: In this fun, hands-on Halloween workshop, kids of all ages can decorate a ceramic pumpkin decoration and their very own glass lantern jar. Create their very own take-home Halloween decorations to proudly display at home.

Halloween workshop tickets include free entry to either a morning or afternoon session at Fort Douglas adventure playground on the day of the workshop.

Our workshops run at 10am and 2pm and last approx 1 hour. Price: £15 per person.

Please bring an empty jar for the lantern decoration

Spooky Scavenger Hunt

Step into a spookified Fort Douglas on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October. Your little halloween lovers will be able to collect their scary scavenger map from the Fort Douglas cabin on arrival, then the search can commence. Once all of the of the items have been found – some may be better at hiding than others – you can collect a halloween treat from the cabin.

Win Santa's Grotto Tickets

A halloween special! If you’re a frequent visitor of The Park Trails then this is the holiday hunt for you. Our sneaky park team will be hiding several white pumpkins around the grounds for you to find. Once you have located a white pumpkin you must take a spooky selfie with it and post it on Instagram tagging @dalkiethcountrypark and using #pictureperfectpumpkin. You will then be in the running to win highly sought after Santa’s Grotto tickets!
