This 90 minute practice invites you to slow down at the end of your week and nurture your own needs ready for the weekend. Yin yoga is a quiet, slow practice where the poses are held for a few minutes – not for us to endure the pose, but so that muscles have time to relax which then allows us to work with the deeper, denser connective tissue. We practice stillness within the session so that we can give our body time to slow and relax, and our mind time to wind down. When we do move we move slowly, with care and mindfully.
It is suitable for anyone, whether you are completely new to yoga or an experienced yogi. It is simply an invitation to slow down, spend time in a quiet space and release tension.
About the Teacher
