Midlothian Resilience Art Project

The Project

The Midlothian Resilience Art Project set out to ask children a simple question ~ How did you cope through COVID?

P1 to S2 pupils at schools in Midlothian were invited to share their experiences of coping during the pandemic. In response, pupils could submit a painting, drawing, poem or short piece of writing about their feelings. And they could explore how they managed during lockdown.

Explore the Artwork

Many young people have contributed to the project. Their artwork is being displayed between Thursday 17 September to Sunday 4 October, at various locations throughout Midlothian. And we’re proud to be taking part! You can too ~ explore some of the artwork at Dalkeith Country Park on our Wildernesse Walk (the yellow route!).

This is a joint project run by the Midlothian Educational Psychology Team; Communities and Lifelong Learning along with the Health and Social Care Partnership. You can find out more about the project and view the entire gallery of artwork on their website.
