It's time to head Out East at Dalkeith Country Park
Out East is a family friendly festival with a focus on outstanding music & performance from local and international acts. Get ready for a jam-packed programme of art, culture, spoken word, dance, comedy, wellbeing, children’s and family activities, and incredible food & drinks.

School's Out Zone
There’s something for everyone at Out East. A huge open-air child led area with activities, interactive play sessions, roaming entertainment and science fun will be exclusively for them and their families. There will also be a programme of scheduled children’s shows, dancing, theatre, storytelling and magic. It might actually be the parents that want to stay here longest!
Peace Out
You may be in need of a zen escape to reset and relax. A secluded wellness area with yoga, tai chi, meditation, talks & bookable classes and treatments will provide the perfect weekend of balance. Head into the chai tea café or book for the sunset tea ceremony to round off the perfect weekend.
Palm's Tent
Paradise Palms moves to Dalkeith Country Park for the weekend bringing its raucous and infamous queer cabaret to Out East Festival – catch the best of the Fringe right here in one tent!
