Christmas Cookie Decorating Workshops
Little ones (under the age of 9) can enjoy decorating 4 yummy snowflake, Christmas tree & gingerbread cookies. Our workshop leader is PVG Certified so you can drop the kids off and enjoy some Christmas shopping at Restoration Yard. Perfection!

*ALL DATES SOLD OUT* Create festive crafts at Dalkeith Country Park with a fun hands-on Christmas workshop for children. Little elves under the age of 12 can decorate their very own Santa cracker, Santa pom pom and Santa mask to take home and display proudly. And if time allows, why not write a letter to Santa to post in our very special post box, located by The Orangerie.

Gingerbread House Decorating
*ALL DATES SOLD OUT* This is a really fun hands-on Christmas workshop for children and teenagers. Children of 9 to 15 years can decorate a pre-made gingerbread house in our amazing festive space – Santa’s Workshop.
Our wonderful workshop leader is PVG Certified so you can drop the kids off and enjoy some much needed me-time, shopping or dining in Restoration Yard.
Workshops on 26 November and 09 & 16 December from 10.00 to 12.00 or 14.00 to 16.00. Tickets are now available and cost £12.50.
Elf Storytelling
The elves have taken over Santa’s workshop, eager to share their love of Christmas stories with all the children at Dalkeith Country Park.
Children of all ages are welcome, although stories are suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years and include The Christmasaurus and There’s an Elf in Your Book. So why not put on your cosiest Christmas jumper and get ready to enjoy an hour of festive tales!
Workshops on 26 November and 02, 03, 10, 21, 22 and 23 December from 10.00 to 11.00, 11.30 to 12.30, 14.00 to 15.00 or 15.30 to 16.30. Tickets are now available and cost £5.00.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult (a maximum of two adults per child). Accompanying adults are not required to purchase a ticket.
