How was your visit?
And the total is...
Following a brilliant day at Dalkeith Country Park’s first Doddie Duck Race, the total is in and we want to say a BIG thank you to all of you who came along. The grand total raised for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation is…£4,817.95.
This is a spectacular total to kick off our exciting charity partnership. These vital funds raised at the Doddie Duck Race will go towards MNDF’s tireless work to fund research projects aimed at finding a cure for this debilitating disease, as well as providing support to those affected by MND.
Thank you!
Take a look quack!
Visitors gathered on Sunday 05 May to watch their trusty quacker race down the river Esk. Many a tasty treat from local food vendors was enjoyed as well as refreshing Cold Town beer, face painting, live music and a prize-tastic raffle. Oh and did we forget to mention that the iconic Doddie tractor was out in full force for plenty fun family photo opps.
Let’s take a look back at some of the best bits from the Doddie Duck Race 2024.
Our Charity Partnership
As part of our charity partnership we plan to raise vital funds for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Help us do it. We have collection tins across Fort Douglas and within Restoration Yard‘s store and eateries for any loose change you can spare. You’ll also find signage around The Park and Restoration Yard with a QR code linking directly to the charity’s donation page.
Our new charity partnership will also be weaved throughout our seasonal events programme with fundraising opportunities at the Inception Art Show, Restoration Yard fashion show’s and even exciting new events solely dedicated to My Name’5 Doddie. Watch this space!
