The ride brings together classic and vintage-style motorcycle riders from around the world, all raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health through Movember. Whether you’re riding or just visiting, it’s a fantastic day to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy everything on offer.
What's Happening on the Day?
There’s plenty to explore across The Park, making it a great day out for all ages. In the Orangerie, a live band will set the tone with great music throughout the day.
On the Orangerie Lawn, you’ll find a mix of stalls and activities, including:
- iAM RoadSmart
- Motorcycle Law Scotland
- Skincare specialists from Kiehl’s
- Police Scotland (with a police bike on display)
- Magical Moments Events offering face painting and airbrush tattoos
- The Giveaway Guys
When it’s time to refuel, there’ll be plenty of food and drink available, including The Pink Elephant food truck and freshly made pizza from Dough La La.

Other Park Activities
Make the most of your visit by exploring everything else the park has to offer. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at The Kitchen at Restoration Yard, let little adventurers run wild at Fort Douglas Adventure Park, or take to the trees with Go Ape Dalkeith.
You can also stretch your legs on the scenic park trails or browse for something special at The Store at Restoration Yard, perfect for turning your day at the DGR into a full park experience.
What to book before your visit?
Whilst the bikes are away, there’s still time to play! Make the most of your day out by planning ahead. We recommend booking your visit to Fort Douglas adventure playground before you arrive. And if you’re joining us for food and drinks, be sure to secure a table at The Kitchen, as weekends often book up fast.

Riding for a Cause
Since 2016, Movember has been the official charity partner of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. Together, they share a mission to bring people together and shine a light on men’s health issues. Funds raised through the event support vital work tackling prostate cancer and mental health challenges around the world.
