Fort Douglas Opening Hours
Fort Douglas is open 7 days a week with two sessions each day. Book your tickets online for a morning or afternoon visit. Our adventure playground can book up quickly, so please book your tickets online in advance – we like to avoid causing tears and tantrums! Our Summer opening hours are:
Morning session: 10.00 – 13.00
Afternoon session: 14.00 – 17.00

Book your child & adult tickets for Fort Douglas. Little adventurers love to climb, scramble and slide through the tunnels, towers and turreted tree houses of our adventure playground. With a dedicated toddler zone, ziplines and jumping pillows, Fort Douglas is one big adventure for children age up to 12 yrs. And adults can join in the fun too – all our play zones are designed for interactive play with your young explorers.

To ensure our little visitors are kept safe, we don’t allow dogs inside Fort Douglas. There are also no adult only groups allowed – there are many other areas of Dalkeith Country Park you can explore instead.
