Skating on The Rink
The Rink is back and better than ever! This year you can glide under the twinkling lights on our Glice Eco-Rink, which gives you the same magical skating experience without using any water or energy.
The Rink is open throughout all of WinterFest with plenty of fun sessions to choose from, including our lively Skate & Shake nights. Grab your skates and join the festive fun!
Festive Food & Drinks
When you’re ready to warm up, WinterFest has you well covered. Just beside The Rink, our cosy Horsebox is open every weekend, serving up takeaway barista coffees, boozy hot chocolates and mulled cider.
For something hearty, head to The Pink Elephant for festive favourites like pigs in blankets and Christmas-loaded fries. If you’d prefer to sit down and linger a little longer, The Kitchen is open every day from 9.30 – 16.00 with its all-day menu and a special Christmas Menu – definitely book ahead if you can.
And don’t forget The Coffee Bar, open daily from 9.00 – 17.00 (with select late nights until 19.00), where you can enjoy hot drinks, festive sandwiches, snacks and delicious bakes from our pastry chef – all with lovely views of The Rink and the Orangerie.
Christmas Workshops
If you’re feeling crafty this Christmas, our workshops are the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. Our ever-popular Wreath Workshops are back, and we’ve even added extra dates on 13 and 14 Dec due to demand.
Little ones can join the fun too with our Kids’ Christmas Workshops, featuring gingerbread house decorating and hands-on Christmas crafts. Ideal for sparking creativity and festive cheer.
Keep Up Traditions
If you love keeping festive traditions alive, we’ve got plenty to help you make Christmas feel extra special. Over at Christmas Tree HQ (just next to the Orangerie) you can pick the perfect Nordmann or Fraser Fir, from 6ft to 9ft. You can also toast marshmallows around the firepits while you choose!
And for a feel-good festive moment, don’t miss our annual Doddie Dash on Sunday 14 December, raising funds for our charity partner, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. With a 1K or 3K Elf Dash and a 5K Santa Dash, it’s fun for all ages, with medals and hats for the kids and even a prize for the best-dressed festive pup.
Meet Santa
There are still a few spaces left for our ever-popular A Tale with Santa experience, taking place in The Christmas Cabin.
This year, Santa has a special helper from the North Pole. Our very own singing Elf will be on hand to help tell the festive tale! We also offer ASN-friendly sessions, so everyone has the chance to meet the man of the moment and enjoy some magical Christmas fun.
