"It's a perfect place for a family day out. Perfect country park very near to the town. Beautiful place with kids' play area (which needs booked in advance). It has a nice big car park which charges £3 and the parking fee is payable by card. It is perfect for picnics. I enjoyed the place and would definitely go back and recommend it."

Don’t Miss…
Our beautiful bluebells have bloomed! The Hyacinthoides non-scripta, or native bluebell, spends most of the year underground. Then suddenly, due to these lovely mild spring temperatures we’ve been having, they have bloomed and will hopefully be with us until the end of May. Head down the Red Trail to see them in their masses. These beautiful little flowers are fragile so make sure to stick to the paths, so you don’t trample them.
