Spook-tacular activities keep youngsters busy
9th November, 2017
Local youngsters including three-year-old Sam Have, from Edinburgh, enjoyed some creepy colouring in as part of Dalkeith Country Park’s Halloween celebrations.
Fort Douglas was transformed into a Halloween wonderland and prizes were awarded for the best costumes worn to the Park between Friday 27 and Tuesday 31 October.
Ghoulish activities also included a host of games including Pin the Boo on the Ghost, Pumpkin Beanbag Toss, Witches Hat Ring Toss and Pumpkin Noughts & Crosses.
Julie Merrilees, Visitor Services Manager at Dalkeith Country Park, said: “Our dedicated Halloween activity room was busy throughout the weekend with youngsters making a host of arts and crafts including spiders made from pipe cleaners.
“The Park was awash with an array of superb costumes – we had a wonderful time enjoying seasonal spooky fun with all our visitors.”
